I thought I would take advantage of the little snow flurry we have had over the last day or two and post a couple of images form a local venue to me. Fanhams Hall in Ware is a fab place to have a wedding and especially picturesque when covered in a blanket of snow. I have a wedding there tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to post some cool snow scenes featuring my wedding couple over the next week or so. Fingers crossed the snow holds.

Rory McIlroy and friends | Wentworth Golf Club | BMW PGA Championships
Again, something a little different for me. In another life I might have enjoyed being a sport photographer of some kind. I love sport and I love taking photographs, so a combination of the two could have been the perfect union. These days I settle for the amateur approach and do it more as a fan.
Here are a selection of images from last years BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club in Surrey, including a few 'celebs' from the Pro-Am day. After a shaky start Rory McIlroy went on to be the eventual winner and followed that by having a tremendous year, winning two majors (The Open and USPGA) bringing his tally to four. He followed this all up with a fantastic showing in the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles. What silverware will 2015 bring him I wonder.
The crowds really do follow the world number 1, Rory McIlroy on the 1st tee at Wentworth. Even a bit of a scrum of photographers battling for the best spot to capture that epic action shot!
Rory with his trade mark finish after another stunning drive down the centre of the fairway.
Interesting to see the different swing finishes from two very composed golfers. Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy.
Lee Westwood, Justin Rose, Matteo Manassero and Martin Kaymer all getting in on the act.
Teddy Sheringham striking a pose on the super manicured fairways of Wentworth golf Club.
Peter Schmeichel hitting a sweet shot into a par 3, watched keenly by Teddy Sheringham.
Anton Du Beke making short work of a bunker.
José María Olazábal, Winning Ryder Cup captain still has what it takes to power a ball almost 300 yards down the fairway.
Ex Formula 1 world champion Damon Hill looks a little concerned that his golf driving is not quite up to his F1 standards. Jamie Redknapp seems to agree.
Olympic champions Sir Matthew Pinsent and Sir Steve Redgrave are regular celebrity golfers along with F1 champion, Nigel Mansell.
Phil Neville (Manchester United fame) in a spot of bother amongst the spectators on the 17th at Wentworths West Course.
Peter Schmeichel finds another fairway.
That man again. Boy this guy knows how to play golf.
And then running the gauntlet of autograph hunters (errr, yes, that includes me too). That is one intense look he is giving someone.
Sergio Garcia lobbing a high ball back to the pin after a wayward iron on this par 3. Partnering Henrik Stenson the both hit great drives from the next tee.
Ernie Els, big in stature, big in drive....but small in autograph. He possess possibly the smallest signature on tour, something that Justin Rose found amusing.
The final images have to be Rory McIlroy. The boy done good!

Down Hall Country House Hotel | Wedding Photography of Julia & Torben
Weddings at Down Hall Country House Hotel are always exciting to shoot.
There are so many great places to photograph a wedding couple and the main
lounge is no exception.
Julia and Torben
were combining two cultures as Russia met Denmark in what was a small, but
intimate wedding ceremony that took place at Down Hall Hotel. This was followed
by a drinks reception in the main lounge (champagne rather than vodka) whilst
the heavens opened. It was literally raining cats and dogs but amazingly within about twenty minutes of the ceremony finishing the sun came out and the weather was great! This gave us ample time to have a few minutes in the gardens to create some stunning images. You can see from the images below that Julia thoroughly enjoyed being a bride for the day!
Pet Photographer in Herts | Cat portraits |Oscar and Holly
Something a little different for me here. These are the two new additions to the Lynch household. At 12 weeks old I give you Oscar (white patches) and Holly. Brother and sister kittens that we have adopted from a rescue home. They are great little bundles of fur and at the moment are into everything. Our three boys love them dearly already and Oscar follows me around the house like a little puppy.
Newborn photography | Baby portraits of little Teddy
Start
2015 as I mean to go on...with more blog posts. Unfortunately I found myself so
busy in 2014 that I simply was not able to blog as regularly as I had hoped
which is a shame as there are some stunning images from last years work. I will
play catch up some time in the next couple of weeks by posting my 'Best of
2014' wedding images. A selection of some of my favorite images from the
weddings I covered throughout 2014.
For now
and to get this year underway I have 3 gorgeous images from a newborn
photo-shoot of Teddy and mum and dad. A cute name for a cute little boy who
just happens to be two weeks old.
Enjoy!
