Fanhams Hall weddings | Hertfordshire wedding photography | Kierra and David

March can be a glorious time of the year to get married and the recent wedding of Kierra and David was no exception. From the quaint little church of St Nicholas in Norton to the splendour of their Fanhams Hall reception this wedding really did tick all the boxes. And with gorgeous weather thrown in it was all too good to be true.

The gardens at Fanhams Hall were in magnificent condition for so early in the year and we took full advantage and made some truly fabulous pictures. From the late Spring blossom to the bright yellows of the daffodils nothing was left out! We even managed a superb set of sunset images towards the end of the day. What a perfect way to finish your album.

Newborn baby photography - Hertfordshire portrait photographer - Eddie

Here are a few shots from little Eddie's newborn photo-shoot. What a little sweetheart he is! At 10 days old and weighing in at a healthy 7lbs 8oz he was the ideal age and size for a baby shoot. He slept through most of the session and made my life really easy. He even managed a few smiles which is a bit of a treat in one so young. Cute hats and little props all work to give the ahhh factor to these piccies. Mum and dad are Kirsty and James whose wedding I shot back in 2009 (wow guys, is it really that long ago?) Here is a quick link to their wedding images that I blogged at the time.

If you are looking to have a newborn baby photo-shoot let me know your due date and check for availability. The best results are really achieved between day 3-10 so good planning is key.

Tewin Bury Farm Hotel - Wedding Fayre

We exhibited at the Tewin Bury Farm wedding Fayre last week and I thought I would post a few images of our stand. We have changed the look of the stand several times over the last few years, from pictures on easels to building 7 foot high stud walls to make it look like a corner of a room. Complete with skirting board, architrave and bright red walls. Our stands have always drew attention, especially from other exhibitors and this new one was no exception. It is fairly simple in design but has a lot of impact .....with the bonus of being a lot quicker to put up and break down compared to previous efforts.

Hertfordshire wedding photography | Wedding Albums | Emma and Kris

I thought that I would post something a little different to what I normally show today! It is all very nice putting up what may be seen as some of my favourite images from a wedding day....but what do they look like when all put together as a gorgeous album. Below is a copy of the page layouts that went in Emma and Kris's album. They were married in a lavish ceremony at the Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey in Beds. Emma was so cool to work with and was a bit of a show off in front of the camera, which suited my style of wedding photography a treat!

The first and last images below are the opening and last pages in the album. All following images are 2 page spreads (so imagine a line down the middle where the album closes). I have had to do the double page spreads slightly smaller so that they will fit side by side on the 800pxl wide space for my images. They still give you a great idea into how I design my albums with the aim on bringing the best out of my photography. The size of this album is 14"x11" and when I get a chance I will post an image of the outside cover that Emma and Kris chose.
